A Message From Our Owner

Hello, and welcome to ROOM and PORCH!

My name is Shanda, and I’m so happy you’re here. ROOM and PORCH began with a love for home, a little bit of nostalgia, and a longing for the small-town feeling I always knew.

Originally from the charming farmlands of Washington State, I moved to Arizona to care for my mom. As I settled into my new home and life in Arizona, I found myself missing the little things that made my hometown so special, the friendly faces, the sense of community, the charming shops, and the joy of finding something unexpected and beautiful for your home.

After years of working in the corporate world, I decided to take a leap of faith and turn that feeling of home into something of my own. In 2021, ROOM and PORCH was born.

What started as a dream has grown into a place that means so much to me. Every corner of our store is thoughtfully curated with pieces that I hope bring warmth, character, and a little happiness into your home. From cozy home décor and seasonal treasures to unique gifts and everyday favorites, we love finding those special little things that make you stop and smile.

But ROOM and PORCH is about more than just what’s on our shelves. It’s about creating a place where you feel welcome, inspired, and connected a little piece of the small-town shopping experience I grew up loving. We want you to feel like you can come in, take your time, look around, find something you love, and maybe even leave with a new favorite memory.

Throughout the year, we also love bringing our community together with special events filled with giveaways, drinks, snacks, and plenty of fun. These gatherings have become some of our favorite moments because they give us the chance to celebrate the people who make our store what it is.
